What sort of TODO list software do you use?

I'm looking to upgrade my TODO list software. I currently keep track of it in a textfile on my pc, which I edit using emacs. However, on occasion, I would like to inspect this on my phone and complete/add some tasks. Because I am a very heavy keyboard user and dislike web apps, I would like something that doesn't require mouse usage, but I'll look into any suggestions you may have. I have an Android phone but would consider moving to iPhone if the app is good enough because this is my most frequently used software.

Because I last upgraded my TODO list software about ten years ago I'd like to reach out and see if there are some good modern solutions. What would you suggest?

I use TickTick, they have a simple powerful UI both on mobile and on web with a good chrome extension. So it's easy to add and check things whether you're at your computer or not. Also it's free with no ads!

I've been using Pi Reminders for almost a year, no issues, been great. i have it setup on my Android phone, android tablet, and all my computers integrated into chrome browsers.
you can also access it from a web interface if you're using someone else's device.

I have to say I am a big fan of Microsoft OneNote, you can get it free on Windows, iOS and Andriod as far as I am aware.

Yeah, I really like the sync feature across mobile and desktop. As far as reminders go in terms of popups go it needs to integrate with outlook, currently I believe you can only set these up on the desktop unfortunately. I hope this changes because it is very useful.
