loader does NOT work as before (as to portable, I don't know, I don't utilize that software).

Never interested in portable rubbish, but decided to try... Splash screen and then - NOTHING

 

To solve the identified problems, we are working on a new installer, totally revised. In the mean time, please deeply unistall the installed version, if any, disable your AV, "re-install"(re-extract) and re-execute SMMVSplitterPortable.exe with elevation. Before each test you want execute, delete the Data folder (or delete the portable main folder and re-extract a fresh version). I noticed you had problems with the "loader" also, so, the protection level is probably too high

I can help if you mention your OS (eg. Windows 10 x64 1809), the UAC status (on or off) and the AV you use (eg. NOD32). Other info are always appreciated, for example:
. the installed official version correctly works/doesn't work without the "fix"
. the installed official version correctly works/doesn't work using the "fix"
. The Portable version doesn't work if I the program is also installed

I didn't remove official version awaiting the patch or serials, now I'll delete it and try a portable one more time. The reason is this cutter/joiner - best of all in it's class.

 

Ok, thanks for the detailed info, we will use them to refine the launcher. Please let me know if the Portable version correctly works uninstalling the official version or executing it on a different PC. If the Official version is ok (registered), the AV is surely not a problem (I suppose we use the same fix), anyway, take a look to the removed/blocked stuffs.

After total uninstalling Solveig and deleting all register entries, all "viruses" allowed - no success.
Pity.

I did it first of all, then with no permissions - the same result

 

Ok, I will post a revision soon. The version you tried correctly works for the most cases but not for 100%
